My car vibrates when driving. Will an alignment help the vibrations?
Most likely not. Although misalignment under some circumstances can cause vibrations, the most likely cause is a tire or wheel balance problem.
My car pulls to one side when I’m driving on the highway. What causes this?
The three main causes of pulling when driving are, in order: uneven tire wear, misalignment or power steering problems. The cause usually is some combination of these conditions.
How often should my vehicle be aligned?
Most vehicles should have their alignment checked at least once a year of normal driving. The alignment should also be checked when tires are replaced, if a curb, pothole or other object is hit hard.
What is an Alignment?
When we align your car we are adjusting the wheels to go down the road together, in a straight line. This prevents unusual tire wear. It also gives a better handling and safer vehicle.
My car vibrates when I brake. Do I need an alignment?
Most vibrations on braking are brake related.
My brakes squeak. Do I need a brake job?
Possibly. Some squeaks or noises are common with disc brakes. Many disc brakes have audible sensors that also cause a squeaking or high pitched squeal sound. Brakes are one of the most important systems on your car. Any noises should be inspected to see if there is a problem or they are normal brake noises.
How often should my brakes be inspected?
When your car is new, the brakes should go thousands of miles without service. We suggest inspecting brakes at every lube service. You may not need brake service that often, but it’s better to check them too early and not need anything, than wait too long and cause needless damage or expense.
